Hello there!
My name is Hannah Han and I specialize in working with neurodivergent young adults who are seeking support with strengthening executive functioning skills across the areas of academics, social skills, and careers.

My Approach
Neurodiversity Affirming
At the heart of my work is my belief that we, as a society, need neurodiversity in order to function at our best. Neurodivergent brains think differently, often more creatively, and we absolutely need this type of diversity within our communities. Not only do I respect these differences, but I celebrate and encourage the expression of them in each of my clients.
Individualized
I strongly believe that there is no such thing as “one size fits all.” Each person deserves support that is tailored to their needs, and that is exactly what I aim to do. Throughout the coaching relationship, my ultimate goal is to increase my clients' autonomy and self-confidence by teaching them the tools and strategies that will help them reach their self-directed goals. Each coaching decision is made with my clients' independence in mind.
Connecting
Humans need connection to thrive. My desire for each of my clients is for them to be able to cultivate and sustain meaningful relationships throughout their lives. I aim to connect my clients with like-minded peers, inclusive community environments, as well as help my clients' identify school, work, or social environments that fit their unique needs.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where are you located?
I live and work in Long Beach, CA. I am more than happy to hold sessions in person if you are nearby. Otherwise, we can meet virtually wherever you are located.
Do you offer in-person services?
Yes! I am located in Long Beach, CA so I am able to meet in-person with individuals who are local to Long Beach or who are willing to commute. SAD Events will also be held in-person around the Long Beach area.
What is the typical duration and frequency of the coaching sessions?
Sessions are typically scheduled weekly, or twice weekly if needed. Each session usually lasts between 60-90 minutes. The frequency and length can by adjusted based on your needs and the pace you prefer to work.
How long does the coaching relationship typically last?
This completely depends on you and your goals! Sessions can be scheduled until goals are met, or can continue if you prefer to have on-going support. For example, if you are looking for academic support for a college course, sessions can be scheduled up until the end of the term, per your preference.
What does parent communication and involvement look like?
I view the parents and guardians as playing a supportive role throughout the coaching relationship. The client will be playing the leading role, and this is a vital aspect of the coaching relationship which must be understood by all parties in order for our work to be effective. The clients are my focus, and their growth is of utmost importance. However, I value insight from parents, I welcome collaboration, and I want to keep the lines of communication open. Progress Meetings can be scheduled upon request.
Do you provide ABA therapy?
No, I do not. While I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, I will not be providing ABA services. My background in ABA allows me to think critically, analytically, and systematically, but I no longer practice within the field of ABA.
